Obituary of Adrienne E. Conway

Adrienne E. (Verbrugghe) Conway, age 75 of Lafayette Hill formerly of Roxborough, died Wednesday (2/19) at her home in Lafayette Hill surrounded by her family. She was a retired High School Teacher employed by Mercy Vocational High School Mrs. Conway was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Henry and the late Roberta Keely Verbrugghe. Mrs. Conway was a graduate of Holy Family Grammar School and Saint John The Babtist High School. She was a former member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church before moving to Lafayette Hill and became a member of Saint Philip Neri Church. She was also a member of the Phillipians Social Group thru St. Philips and a former member of the Roxborough Manayunk Lioness Club. For many years she enjoyed vacationing with her family especially at their summer home in Sea Isle City,NJ. She was a devoted wife , mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends. She is survived by her husband of 55 years- John 'Jack" Conway two daughters: Roberta "Robin" D'Auria (Paul) of Washington Twp., NJ, Adrienne Staudenmayer (John) of Plymouth Meeting, PA. one son: John "Jack" Conway (Kathleen) of Huntsville, AL 7 Grandchildren-PJ, Grace ,John Michael, Douglas, Kelly, Justin and Stephanie, She was predeceased by a son Stephen H. Conway and a brother-Arthur Verbrugghe. Friends may call Sunday 2/23/2014 from 5-7pm at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. and Monday 2/24/2014 from 9:30-10:30 am at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion. Contributions may be made to Abington Hospice,1200 Old York Rd. Abington,Pa. 19001.
