Obituary of Dorothy J. Livesey

Dorothy J.(Schieber) Livesey, age 83 of Plymouth Meeting PA., died Thursday (1/30) in the Einstein Montgomery Hospital. She was a Home Maker And Artist. Mrs. Livesey was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Otto and the late Emma Krauss Schieber. Mrs. Livesey was a graduate of Olney High School. She was a long time active member and volunteer at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church in Lafayette Hill and ran their Craft Bazaar. She was also an artist , painting various historic sites and homes in our area and often had shown her art at the Woodmere Museum. Mrs. Livesey was an avid Bridge Player and was a former Captain of her Bridge Club in Whitemarsh and she also enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her husband Joseph R. Livesey two daughters: Kim Veon (Richard) of Lafayette Hill, PA, Kelly Doherty (Keith) of Malvern, PA one son: Kevin Livesey (Kate) of Bryn Mawr, PA 6 Grandcildren -Sean,Michael,Caitlin,Emma,Richard and Caroline. She was predeceased by her son Robert J. Livesey in 1973. Friends may call Tuesday 2/4/14 from 10-11am at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. Contributions may be made to Saint Peters Church.
