Obituary of Alfred Jay Richart

Alfred Jay "Al" Richart, age 82 of The Masonic Village in Lafayette Hill PA, died Thursday (1/23) in Chestnut Hill Hospital. He was a Retired Shipper, employed by The Burpee Seed Co. Warminster,Pa. Mr. Richart was born in Phila., PA. Al was a long time resident of Roxborough and was a 1949 graduate of Roxborough High School. He was a member of the Roxborough Presbyterian Church and his youth played baseball in the Church League. He also was a member of their Ushers Assn. Al and his wife liked to travel from time to time and as a hobby he like to work with wood. He will be sorely missed by his loving wife and his extended family. He is survived by his wife Joyce (Manton) Richart along with his nieces,nephews and cousins. Friends may call Tuesday 1/28/14 from 10-11am at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA..
