Obituary of William T. Dalton

William T. Dalton, age 71 of Buckingham PA, died New Years Day (1/1/2014) in the Doylestown Hospital. He was a retired Chief Sheriff for Bucks County Mr. Dalton was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late William and the late Florence Kingcade Dalton. Mr. Dalton was a graduate of the Edison High School in Phila. He was a member of the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick and The Kelly Football Club of Doyletown and was former member of Sandy Run Country Club. He also was a member of Saint Robert Bellamine Catholic Church in Warrington. Bill enjoyed golf and loved to travel especially in the past eight years since his retirement to visit friends across the country and up to his mountain home in Sullivan County,Pa. He will be sorely missed by his loving family and many friends. He is survived by two sons: William T. Dalton (Leslie) of Bryn Mawr, PA, Brian C. Dalton (Kathleen) of Lafayette Hill, PA one sister: Ann Walsh (Jack) one brother: Thomas Dalton (Janet) Also survived by his loving grandchildren-Megan, Erin, Hannah, Sydney and Riley along with his nieces and nephews And His Former Wife Ellen McFadden . Friends may call Tuesday 1/7 from 6-9pm at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. and Wednesday from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion.
