Lee Fletcher Jr. age 80 of Phila. PA, died Monday (12/23) in the Thomas Jefferson Univ. Hospital,Phila. , . He was a Machinist, employed by Milton Roy Co. which manufactured pumping systems. Mr. Fletcher was born in Piggott, AR, the son of the late Andrew L. and the late Rebecca Hooker Fletcher. Lee was raised by his late stepfather Paul Dugan. Mr. Fletcher was a graduate of his local High School and attended Pierce Business College. He was a proud Veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean War . When Lee was a youngster he joined the circus at age 11 but at age 12 he was asked to leave the circus after they found out his real age. Lee loved animals , especially his dogs but would take in many a stray including a racoon that he was very fond of. Lee also enjoyed tinkering with cars and at one time owned several sail boats and also belonged to the local Yacht Club in Phila. Lee enjoyed traveling to his property in Susquehanna County Pa. to be with his family and the beautiful mountains of Pa. He will be sadly missed by his family and extended family along with his many friends. He is survived by his wife Janet (Bulmer ) Fletcher five daughters: Cheryl Fletcher of Bridgeport, PA, Donna Fletcher of Phila., PA, Lisa Fletcher of Phila., PA, Patricia Orzeck of E.Norriton, PA, Lisa Peuser of Conshohocken, PA. four sons: Duane Fletcher of Phila., PA, Eric Putsch of Media, PA, Michael Putsch of Germany, Nicholas Putsch of Lafayette Hill, PA two sisters: Victoria Voegtle, Deborah Hamilton Several Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, Friends may call Monday 12/30 from 10-11am at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA..
