Obituary of Robert R. Wischhusen

Robert R."Bob" Wischhusen, age 62 of Norristown formerly of Flourtown, died Friday (11/29) in the Fox Chase Cancer Center. He was a Packaging Engineer, employed by Package Automation Mr. Wischhusen was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Raymond and the late Elvera Staley Wischhusen ,who just died on Sunday11/24/2013. Bob was a 1969 graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh Highschool and was a member of their soccer team. He then graduated the Delaware Valley College of Sciences and Agriculture with a degree in Food Science. Bob's hobbies included gardening, biking, talking politics along with golfing and was a member of the Flourtown Country Club. He was a 38yr. season ticket holder for the Phila. Eagles and was known not only as the "life of the party" but also the unofficial Mayor of Flourtown and Norristown. He was his daughters biggest fan ,attending every one of her various sporting events thru the years. He was also known as a Mr. Fix it / handyman along with being very patriotic and loyal not only to his Country and sporting teams but also to his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife Fern (Granoff ) Wischhusen one daughter: Victoria "Tori" Wischhusen of Flourtown, PA. two sisters: Cate Anderson (David) of Maple Glenn, PA, Jean Hayes (James) of Mobile, AL He is also survived his nieces and nephews and his former wife Virginia. Friends may call Tuesday 12/3/2013 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA.19444. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be private Family and friends are also invited to Shiva at his residence. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
