Clara E. Kolb, 103 of Lafayette Hill formerly of Burholme died Tuesday 10/22/2013 in the Spring Meadow Nursing Center in Lansdale,Pa. Born in Germany, , she was the daughter of the late Johann J. and the late Pauline C. Jung Schlotz..She is the wife of the late Rudolf Kolb who passed away in 1977. Mrs. Kolb having been born and raised in Germany held true to her roots even while living in the United States for the many years she lived. She was a member of the Messiah United Methodist Church in Lafayette Hill and often would volunteer at many of the churches functions. Mrs.Kolb , while living in the Burholme section of Phila. before moving to Lafayette Hill, was a member of the Tabor Lutheran Church and enjoyed attending their Womens Group activities. She was known to her family and others as a very generous woman and enjoyed gardening and baking and will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends. She is survived by one daughter: Elsie Friedgen (William) of Lafayette Hill, PA 6 Grandchildren, 8Great Grandchildren, She was predeceased by a son Ralph Kolb. Funeral Services will be held Friday 10/25/2013 at 10:30 am from the Messiah United Methodist Church, 527 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill .Pa.19444 Interment will be held privately in The Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge. Friends may call Friday from 9:30-10:30am at the Church. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the above church.
