Laurence Hugh"Larry" Hoffner. Sr. 83, on August 6, 2013. at his home in Blue Bell. Born June 9, 1930 in Upper Darby, PA he was a proud graduate of his beloved St. Joseph's Preparatory School '48 and was in the Army Signal Corps during the Korean War. He was a member and past Commodore at the Sea Isle City Yacht Club and a parishioner at Epiphany of Our Lord Church. He was a member of the Old York Road Country Club for 48 years and an avid fan of all Philadelphia Sports teams as well as the Big Five Basketball. Larry is survived by his beloved wife Margaret (Peggy) Gillece Hoffner of 58 years, four surviving children; Denise (Ric) Browne, Lynne (Jeffery) Kirkpatrick, Marie (Richard) Doyle and Martin (Stefani) Hoffner and cherished PopPop to 14 grandchildren. He has joined two sons who preceded him in Heaven; Laurence Jr. (Nancy) Hoffner and Stephen Hoffner. Funeral mass Friday 8/9 ,11:30 am at The Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Viewing- 9:30AM to 11:30 . Internment Calvary Cemetery.
