Jane Webster Johnson died Sunday, Dec 22, 2024 at Park Lane at Bellingham in West Chester, PA.




Mrs. Johnson was born March 16, 1929 in Baltimore, Md. , the daughter of the late Everett Benedict Webster & Lillian (Huth) Webster.




A graduate of Friends Central School in Bryn Mawr, she also attended Harcum College where she studied Fine Art. She married Lewis T. Johnson in 1952 and they enjoyed 50 years of marriage until his death in 2002.




She was a member of St. Jude and the Nativity Episcopal church in Lafayette Hill, where she sang in the choir, and served on the altar guild.




She volunteered with the various local charities and the Republican Women’s Club of Montgomery County.




She enjoyed painting throughout her life, continuing her art education in later years at Montgomery County Community college and exhibiting her painting in local art shows.




She is survived by her son Lewis Johnson, and his wife, Mimi Johnson and her daughter Margaret Cureton and her husband, Barry Cureton and four grandchildren.




The committal and interment will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday January 13,2025 at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer.
