As I attempt to find just one or 2 memories of our beloved brother to share, I am struck, in my inconsolable sadness, at how lucky I am to have so many to choose from. If I tried to relate them all, or even half of them, I’m pretty sure I’d fill the internet. I asked Paul recently if he remembered when I was born and he said yes, they interrupted me watching the Phillies for 5 minutes! And that sums up Paul, always with a smile or a laugh. I have no doubt that he has the angels in heaven giggling by now.
Underneath the smile and the laugh was a genuineness that is tremendously rare. He was above all a truly, down-to-earth, nice guy. He was rock-solid and never said no to anything I ever asked. He had an elephant-like memory for dates and coincidently passed on what would’ve been our mom’s 95th birthday.
I remember when he carried me home from the beach when I cut my foot on a shell. I was probably about 6, Paul 14, at the time. And, with the ‘Muller’ skin, we were probably both beat red with sunburn! He could always, always, make our mom laugh (and with 7 kids, she didn’t laugh frequently). I remember Kathy starting down the St. Mary’s aisle at their wedding, when he and I shared a glance, assuring each other ‘you got this’. As hard as it was on May 12, 1979, to watch him move away from us, it was so enormously comforting to see him move toward the life he was meant to lead. Although only the oldest for a short time, he was the first of us to marry, buy a house and have a child. He led the way. More recently, I remember serving meals with him at Saint Francis Inn, or ‘the kitch’ as he called it.
He was a priceless, one-of-a-kind, once in a lifetime wonder that we are being forced to go forward with out. I will carry him forever in my heart.
Rest in peace big brother, we will think of you always.

Uncle Paul was a giant among men, a quiet presence who would share a smart remark and brighten a mood. He is gone too soon.
I’m so sorry for your loss. The Farrell family has you all in our thoughts.

What a guy! What a smile! And his own sense of humor. So many vacations spent together - Hilton Head, Las Vegas, The Villages. So many memories of the LULU formal Christmas dinners, weekend golfing and Saturday dinners with “the squad”. How much Paul will be missed by so many people. Our prayers to Kathy and the loving family they created together. We’re thankful that Paul was in our lives. Ed and Fran McDonough, The Florida Villagers and former members of the squad.

Paul was a great man, someone who I thought of as family. Incredible sense of humor, smart, direct, and caring. God only makes a handful of people like Paul. I was blessed to know Paul from my father, and for that I will always be thankful. May time and great memories of life's most important moments soothe the pain of the Muller family. Paul is looking down on you with pride, and wishing that you live your lives to the fullest in his honor.

Bob, Rick, and I had the pleasure of playing golf with our dear friend Paul on Sunday, November 17. We had an amazing time together, filled with laughter and his signature dry sense of humor. True to form, Paul managed to take "Mo money" from us too! Afterward, we shared a warm and peaceful conversation over drinks.
The thought that Paul will never grace this earth with his game again is devastating.
I miss you deeply, my friend, but your memory will always remain vibrant—a cherished part of my life that will never fade.

Paul, I will always appreciate the laughter you created around our group throughout our time in high school and beyond. Your wit and sense of humor are just some of the wonderful memories you have created. Our bus trip down the shore just the two of us getting the first bus at 6 am and your throwing pebbles against my bedroom window to make sure I was awake. Thanks for your friendship, the laughter and the joy your brought to all of us. Remember, "Death is not the end cause I will see you in my dreams".
