Dorine H. (McClain) Ash, age 84 of Normandy Farms, Blue Bell PA, died Friday (7/5) in the Einstein Montgomery Hospital. , . She was a Assistant Director Of Domestic Relations For Montgomery County Mrs. Ash was born in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of the late William S. and the late Margaret J. Rosser McClain. Mrs. Ash was a graduate of Germantown High School and attended the Phila. School of Business. During her life she had worked in various jobs such as Penn Mutual Life Ins.Co. ,Philco, The Penna. School for the Deaf and the Montgomery County Court House. She retired from the Court House in 1991 as the Assistant Director of Domestic Relations. She was a former member of the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church where she had sung in the choir and taught Sunday School and was also a former member of the Trinity Presbyterian and Chestnut Hill Presbyterian Church and currently is a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Ambler. Mrs. Ash enjoyed sewing, knitting and being a homemaker along with traveling and playing bridge. She is survived by her husband Harry W. Ash Jr. one daughter: Carol J. Pokorny (David) two sons: Robert W. Ash(Heather), Richard C. Ash (Kim) 8 Grandcildren ,1 Great Grandchild, Predeceased by a sister: Margaret Finkbohner and her three brothers: Covert McClain, William McClain, Dr.David McClain .
