Please share a memory of Anabelle to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Anabelle Moscoso de Cosio, 81, of Cochabamba, Bolivia and Narberth, PA passed away on November 9, 2024 in Philadelphia. PA.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in East Falls, PA on Thursday, November 14th at 11:00 am with Visitation starting at 10:15am.

Anabelle was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia to Alfonso Moscoso and Leonor Salamanca de Moscoso on July 16, 1943. She received her secretarial certificate from Nuestra Señora de Lourdes de las Monjas Canadienses and her high school degree in Montreal, Canada. From Canada, she went to New York City where she worked at Linblad Expeditions directing Tour and Cruise operations in diverse regions of the world. This job took her to places like the Galapagos Islands, Russia, and Safaris in East Africa. It was also in New York that she met and married Leo and soon after started their family. They relocated to the Philadelphia area where she continued to work as an administrative assistant at Optical Apparatus, but mostly focused on raising her three children.  Anabelle was also an avid reader and loved art, but it was her faith, family, and friends that brought her the most joy and is what she always put first. She lived her faith through volunteering in many capacities both here and in Bolivia. Although her family and friends are all over the world, the connections she has with them are undeniable.

Anabelle is survived by her husband Leonardo Cosio, her three children, Andrea Indelicato (Chris Indelicato), Cynthia Cosio (Michael Kaestner), and Daniel Cosio (Dawn Cosio), her sister Maya Moscoso de Paz (Gonzalo Paz), and her six grandchildren, Marco Indelicato, Mia Cosio, Lucia Indelicato, Reese Cosio, Oliver Cosio, and Eli Cosio.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso and Leonor.

Memorial donations may be made to Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, maryknollsociety.org.
