Geraldine 'Geri'(Mortimer) Dinger, 86, Lafayette Hill, PA, originally of Rimersburg, PA, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Abington Hospital due to complications from a fall. She was Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Jack C. Dinger, survived by daughters, Dr. Susan Duncan and Karen Dinger (Jeffrey), son, Chris Dinger (Valerie); grandchildren, Amber Komykoski (Frank), Ryan Dinger (Meredith), Chelle Koup (Chris), Trey DuBose; and three great grandchildren. She was longtime resident of The Hill at Whitemarsh in Lafayette Hill, Geri will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the many caregivers who knew her. Geri was very active in the life of the churches she attended in Rimersburg, Altoona, Slippery Rock and Ft. Myers, FL. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She baked a mean apple pie and enjoyed gardening. Services will be held at St. Thomas Whitemarsh Episcopal Church, Ft. Washington, Saturday, July 13th @ 1:00 PM. A reception will follow at The Hill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Geri's name to Faith United Methodist Church, 15690 McGregor Blvd, Ft. Myers, FL 33908, the church that she and Jack helped build during their retirement.Faith United Methodist Funeral arrangements are by the Lownes Family Funeral Home of Lafayette Hill. www.lownes.com
