Obituary of Naila Z. Kassis

Naila Zuhair Natour Kassis, of East Norriton, passed away peacefully on Friday July 19, 2024. She was 62 years old. Born on September 29, 1961 in Jerusalem, she was the daughter of Karim and Naimeh Natour, and the beloved wife of the late Zuhair Kassis, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage.

Naila came to the United States in 1982 after marrying Zuhair. She was a homemaker and supported her husband in his various businesses. In 1984, she became a mother and would spent the next 25 years raising 3 children. She enjoyed watching Arab soap operas and learning English by watching General Hospital and Friends.

Naila is survived by her three children, Yousef Kassis (Sandy), Jeeda Kassis, and William Kassis (Marisol), and their families – including 5 grandchildren: Bailey, Charlie, Naomi, Rachel, and Andrew; her mother Naimeh; her sister Anjie; and her brothers Nael and George.

Loved ones are invited to say goodbye to Naila on Friday August 2nd, 2024 at 11:00am at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 900 S. Trooper Rd., Jeffersonville, PA 19403. Interment will follow.
