Obituary of Charlotte J. Park

Charlotte Jean (Matter) Park, 92, of Lafayette Hill, passed away on March 30, 2024. She was born on December 6, 1931, in Philadelphia PA, the daughter of John and Florence (Seaman) Matter.

 

Charlotte grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Germantown High School. She married Wilmer Garrison in 1951 and they were blessed with four children. In 1984, she married Richard Park and moved to Lafayette Hill, PA. She was a school secretary for many years at Roxborough High School in Philadelphia.

 

Charlotte was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, and living in her own home.  She liked to travel and visit family.  She was a woman of strong faith and member of Upper Dublin Lutheran Church.

 

Charlotte is survived by her four children: William (Priscilla) Garrison of Lewisberry, PA; James (Donna) Garrison of West End, NC; Janet Chiocchi of Lincoln, NE; and Susan (Craig) Banyai of Charleston, IL; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Park, brother John Matter, and son-in-law John Chiocchi.

 

Memorial Service: 10:30AM Monday May 20th at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, 411 Susquehanna Rd, Amber, PA with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating.
