I came to know Jake a bit when we moved to Peter Becker in 2018 and I joined the Woodworkers group. Jake was a founding member of the group and was often seen in the small woodshop before the fire destroyed the garage. He prized some of the old equipment and was skilled in its use. Although we had limited interaction, he did share with me his memories of working with the Nakashima family and his contributions to their endeavors. Condolences Pat and family. Joe Bondi

Dear Patricia, family and friends of Jake, On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans, we offer our sincere condolences at Jake´s passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are always saddened whenever a fellow "Bubblehead" departs on Eternal Patrol. He served with honor on the USS Corporal SS-346. To our "Brother-of-the-Phin" we say, "Sailor, rest your oar. I had the distinct pleasure of serving with Jake on the New Hope Borough Council for several years in the early 2000’s. Although we were from different political parties, Jake always acted in a bipartisan manner that put New Hope first. His institutional knowledge of public works was invaluable to the council Jake was a true gentleman with a fine mind and a sharp wit. He was always a pleasure to be around. My condolences to Pat and his family

I will always remember Jake Fell for his love and commitment to the Borough of New Hope. He was a council member for 34 years and an advocate for New Hope, always concerned about the well-being of the borough. I honor him for his service during World War II, and his love for New Hope history. May he rest in peace. Roy Ziegler
