Michael P. Miles, age 71 of Upper Gwynedd formerly of Phila., died Monday (5/27) in the Abington Health Lansdale Hospital after an illness surrounded by his family. , . He was a retired Master Electrician .After his retirement he became a certified Permaculture Designer and was was an Urban Farmer at Two Miles Farm in Upper Gwynedd which is a certified naturally grown permaculture farm. Mr. Miles was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late John J. and the late Mary Malloy Miles. Michael was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty H.S. and Temple Univ. He also was a Navy Veteran serving on the USS Enterprise. He is survived by one daughter: Melissa L. Miles of Royersford, PA one sister: Barbara Miles Goldner of Lafayette Hill, PA. 2 Grandchildren, Alec And Justin, He was predeceased by a brother John. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews-Mary,Herman,Gregory,Barbara,Caroline and Andrea. He is the dear friend of Joya Angelo.
