Michael R. Henigan, 66, of Philadelphia passed away on September 29, 2023. Michael was born on May 7, 1957 to James and Margaret Henigan. Michael was the loving husband to the late Susan Porter Henigan and father to the late Michelle Henigan Conicello.

A graduate of St. Francis of Assisi and Cardinal Dougherty schools, Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was quick witted and always made us laugh with his funny and crazy stories, some of which were too hard to believe but we knew them to be true. An avid reader and historian on all things related to his favorite artist, Bob Dylan. Whether it was playing pool at the Post or engaging on Facebook, he enjoyed staying connected to his numerous friends from Germantown.

Michael is survived by his family Jimmy (Kathy), Dolores, John (Carol), Patricia (Joe), Kim (the late Thomas), Mary Ellen (Mark), Joseph, Anna, Trish (Martin), Anthony (Charlotte), Kathleen, Margaret (Hank) as well as many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his extended family Meghan McCartney, Meredith Leftwich, and grandchildren Jacob, Xavier and Raleigh.

Family and friends are invited to Michael’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Continental Post, 5151 Wissahickon Avenue at 1:00pm.
