Obituary of James F Mootz III
James (Jesse) Francis Mootz III passed away on July 12 in the arms of his loving wife Allison, surrounded by his family. With him was his mother, Patricia Mootz, and sister Kathryn Gormley and brother-in-law Sean Gormley. Jesse was a very special uncle to their children Charlotte and Patton. Jesse is predeceased by his father James (Jim) Mootz, Jr. Also present were the Cousins; Jude (Shannan) Yakamavage, Michael (Molly) Mootz, Jason (Meagan) Mootz, Eric (Kate) Mootz, and Craig (Danielle) Mootz, as well as the Uncles: Mike (Debi), Bob (Carolyn), and Joe (Nelly). Ali’s parents Al and Colleen Fisk were also present. Jesse was loved by his brothers-in laws Adam (Mary) Fisk and Ryan (Gessica) Fisk.
Jesse’s life, though too short, was full. He graduated from Chestnut Hill Academy cum laude ‘96, followed by a B.S degree in Economics from Duke University ’00 . Jesse’s superpower was in establishing and maintaining personal relationships, and he also loved technology, so it is no surprise that he had a successful professional career in Technology Sales. He started with Bluestone Consulting in 2001 and then joined Noosh in 2010 where he worked until recently.
Jesse will be remembered for his many talents and interests – as a foodie, storyteller, mentor, critical thinker and fan of Blue Devils, Eagles and Springsteen. Above all, his kindness and love of family and friends will stay with us forever.
