Obituary of Dorothy H. Feigel

Dorothy H. Feigel, age 91 of The Masonic Village in Lafayette Hill formerly of Roxborough,Phila. PA, died Friday (5/17) in the Masonic Village. She was a Retired Insurance Specialist For The Provident Mutual Life Insurance Co. Mrs. Feigel was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Margaret Monaghan Huber. Wife of the late Harry R. Feigel Sr. who died in 2005. Mrs. Feigel was a life long resident of Roxborough and was a 1938 graduate of Roxborough H.S. along with The former Pierce Business School. Mrs. Feigel was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Palestine Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a current member of the Corinthian Chapter. She was a former Den Mother when her sons were growing up and volunteered for many years for the Meals on Wheels Program and the American Red Cross along with volunteering for many of her churches projects and programs at Saint Peters Lutheran Church in Lafayette Hill. She also was an avid gardener and member of the Schuykill Valley Nature Center. She is survived by two sons: Harry R. (Deborah) of Phila., PA, Paul J. Feigel (Kathleen) of Phila., PA Also survived by- her grandchildren- Lt.Cmdr. USN Harry R. Feigel(Veronica); , 2nd Lt.USAF Frederick W. Feigel(Vanessa); , Gretta Rogne(Oystein); , Dr.Amanda Feigel,Lt.Cmdr.USN; , Paul J. Feigel Jr.; and Great Grandchildren-, Harry R. Feigel IV.and Madelyn A. Feigel Friends may call Thursday 5/23 from 10-11am at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be in the West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Balacynwyd. Contributions may be made to Saint Peters Lutheran Church or The Masonic Village of Lafayette Hill or The Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children,Phila.Pa.. Funeral arrangements are by the Lownes Funeral Home of Lafayette Hill.
