Obituary of Mary T Nowak

Mary (McMonagle) Nowak, of Worcester, Pa, passed away on April 25, 2023 surrounded by family.  

Mary was born on July 24, 1943 to Sarah (Ferry) and Michael McMonagle of Mount Airy, Pa and was a graduate of the Class of 1962 from Cardinal Dougherty High School.  She was one of five children, and predeceased by Grace, Peggy, and Bill McMonagle and survived by Sally (McMonagle) Hasson. 

In 1966, Mary met the love of her life, John Gerald Nowak, of Conshohocken and was proud to call him husband for 52 years. She was a loving mother to Megan Christine (deceased), Peggy (Andrew Kreutzer, her “Nikki”) and Maryrose (Mike Roberts).  She is survived by four grandchildren, each of whom brought her an immense amount of joy and pride: Julia (22), John (19), Ella (17), and Michael (13). 

Mary will forever be remembered for her strong Catholic faith, love of her Irish heritage, lifelong friendships and devotion to her adoring husband and family. 

Services will be held on Friday, April 28 at St. Helena Church in Blue Bell, Pa.  Viewing is at 9:30am immediately followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00am.  Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre in Cheltenham, Pa.
