John J. McAdam, 92, of Lafayette Hill, was given to God on March 27, 2023. He was the son of Rose (Burke) and John C. McAdam, brother of Rosemary, beloved father of Kathleen (Paul) and John (Kathleen). He was preceded in death by his two daughters, Mary Anne and Sharon and his sister, Rosemary.Loving grandfather of Matthew, Christopher (Lindsey), Colin, Jacquelynne, Sean and Jason and great-grandfather of Audrey, Benjamin and Noah.

John was a 1949 graduate of Germantown High School. He volunteered in the United States Marine Reserves in 1951. In 1952 he was drafted into the Army during the Korean War and was honored to serve the country he loved.

John was a union master electrician and lifelong member of International Union of Electrical Engineers, serving multiple union posts while employed at Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania and was a tireless advocate for those injured or treated unjustly in the work setting. An animal lover,great dancer and loyal Eagles fan, he loved his life and his family embracing those less fortunate, tirelessly helping those in need.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 28, 2023, at St. Phillip Neri Church, Lafayette Hill at 10:30 for a greeting, followed by an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
