Harry J. Cappa, of Lafayette Hill, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023. He was 89. Born in Philadelphia on July 11, 1933, he was the son of Anthony and Cecilia (Elsie) Cappa and brother of the late Anthony Cappa.

Harry graduated from Roman Catholic High School and Temple University with a degree in graphic arts. He enjoyed his career in the printing industry until retirement. He was a proud and faithful member of the Men of Malvern for over 60 years and a devoted parishioner of Saint Philip Neri since 1963.

He was the most kind, generous and patient man. He loved quality time with his family, especially at the beach. He gave the best hugs, loved to complete a puzzle and would never turn down a doughnut.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eileen (McGlinchey). He was the father of four beloved children, Harry John (of cherished memory), his wife Kathy, Cecilia (David Minnick), Theresa (Ben Janney), Philip (Debbie Fleming). Grandfather of Valerie (Tony Raie), Brendan Corbidge, Gregory Cappa, Nicholas Cappa, Anastasia (Hector Velarde), Isabella Janney and two great-grandchildren, Everly and Gavin Raie.

Family and friends are invited to Saint Philip Neri Church (437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444) on Monday, January 16, 2023, for a viewing from 9:30-11:00 AM. His Funeral Mass begins at 11:00 AM. Harry’s Internment will take place following Mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 3301 W Cheltenham Ave., Philadelphia.
