Richard J. Johnson, age 85 of Blue Bell formerly of Plymouth Mtg. and Roxborough died Sunday (5/5) surrounded by his loving family at his home in the Blue Bell, He was a Retired Office Manager For M.C. Weeks Co. In Collegeville,Pa. Mr. Johnson was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late Jospeh and the late Orpha Faust Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a 1945 graduate of Roxborough H.S. where he was very active in their band. He also attended Univ. of Penn Wharton School of Business. In his younger days he played his saxaphone in a Big Band. He was a long time active member of the Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Church where he had been a former Sunday School teacher ,Treasurer and was the founder of their orchestra. He is survived by his wife-Mary Lou (Neber) Johnson one daughter: Linda L. Johnson (Tom Allen) of Carlsbad, CA three sons: Paul E. Johnson (Karen) of Plymouth Meeting, PA., Gary J. Johnson (Barbara) of Conshohocken, PA., Craig R. Johnson (Melissa) of Gilbertsville, PA one sister: Edith Wise of Honeybrooke, PA one brother: Eugene Johnson of Ocean Pine 8 Grandchildren-Nicole,Brett,Paul,Christine,Alex,Christopher,Carly and Chloe, Friends may call Thursday 5/9/13from 10-11am at Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Church, , Plymouth Meeting, PA.. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be private Contributions may be made to Colonial Neighborhood Council -107 E.4th Ave. Conshohocken,Pa.19428 or Montgomery County Assn. for the Blind.212 N.
