Obituary of Mildred Knapp

Mildred (Thompson) Knapp, age 100 of Lafayette Hill PA., died Sunday (5/5) at the Masonic Village in Lafayette Hill. . She was a Home Maker. Mrs. Knapp was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Harry and the late Georgiana Krier Thompson. Loving wife of the late Harold E. Knapp who died in 2001. Mrs. Knapp was a charter and active member of the Messiah United Methodist Church in Lafayette Hill. She was a member of their choir, taught Sunday School, cooked many dinners for church functions and was a former member of their womens society. She enjoyed readings needle work and crafts and painting. For many years she and her family spent summers in Ocean City NJ which she always looked forward to. She is survived by one daughter: Georgette D. Fischer (Dave) of Roxborough,Phila., PA one son: Gerald H. Knapp (Shelley) of Hatboro, PA 4 Grand,6 Great Grandchildren., Friends may call Friday May 10,2013 from 10-11am at Messiah United Methodist Church, 527 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be in the George Washington Memorial Park, .
