Regina A. McWilliams, 84, of Lafayette Hill, PA, known as “Jean” to her family and friends, passed away

Thursday, November 24, 2022, at VNA Hospice in Philadelphia.

Jean is survived by her husband Bob, son Bob Jr. (Cathy), son-in-law Dan O’Pella, eight grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan,

Courtney & Luke McWilliams and Scarlett, Victoria, Daniel and Bridget O’Pella and four great-

grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Jeanne Marie O’Pella (nee

McWilliams), age 36, granddaughter Jeanne (nee O’Pella) McCormick, age 31 and her two brothers and

sisters-in-law Edward & Frances (Fran) Mulligan &; Joseph & Elizabeth (Betty) Mulligan .

Jean graduated from West Catholic (Class of 1956) and went to work right away for the IRS Division of

Alcohol & Tobacco Tax. After several part-time jobs while the children were growing up, she obtained a

job that she loved as the Administrative Assistant to the Athletic Director at Villanova University. Jean

and Bob were long time season ticket holders for both Football and Basketball and she greatly enjoyed

her role in the Athletic Department. She retired in 1994. Jean was a member at North Hills Country

Club, Glenside, PA and Kelly Greens Country Club in Ft. Myers, FL where she enjoyed playing tennis and

golf with her husband.

Visitation will be held at St. Philip Neri Church on November 30th, 2022. at 9:30am with mass to follow

at 11am.
