Obituary of Nicholas M Bonifante

Nicholas M. Bonifante, age 41, of Glenside, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. Nick was born on October 11, 1980 in Philadelphia, PA to Laura Bonifante and Martin Nazarian. He went to Father Judge High School and graduated in 1998. He went on to earn a Liberal Arts degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Penn State University in 2003. Shortly after college Nick started his own business Gutter Gurus with lifelong friend Joe Potok. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, the ocean, making wine, playing the guitar, and spending time with all of his families. 

Nick is survived by his wife Rachel Bonifante, mother and stepfather Laura and Jim Bonifante, father and stepmother Martin and Debbie Nazarian, brother Andrew Bonifante and wife Danielle Raucheisen, brother Martin Nazarian Jr. and wife Amanda, sister Bridget Trautz and husband Nick, grandmother Rose Marie Martino, grandfather Martin Nazarian Sr., godson Dominic Carey, godson Benjamin Nazarian, and many others. 

Nick was preceded in death by his brother Chris Nazarian, stepmother Linda Nazarian, grandmother Joan Nazarian, aunt Janice Coone, uncle Joe Martino, and grandfather Anthony Martino. 

A celebration of Nick’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Lownes Family Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at 9:00am followed by a service at 12:00pm. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Reel Fishing Charities (reelfishingcharities.org).\
