Obituary of Luke E Strain

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Luke Edward Strain, age 34, on August 6, 2022. He was predeceased by his father Timothy, and is survived by his mother Pamela, sister Brianna (Kristen), brother J.C. (Alysia), nieces and nephew Maeve, Teagan, and Arley, grandparents Patricia Osborne and Patrick and Kathleen Strain, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Luke attended Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School and later graduated from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in 2008 with a degree in Collision Repair Technology. He had many talents, but his latest occupation was as a machine pressman.

Luke’s greatest joy in life were his nieces, nephew, and youngest cousins. He loved his family and friends with great ferocity and had a heart too big for this world. Luke had a healthy obsession with all things Star Wars and Philly sports teams.  He could debate technology, astronomy, archaeology, or history with anyone for hours on end.  Ever the long-winded storyteller, Luke would regale anyone who would listen with tales of growing up in Norristown and Plymouth Meeting, various vacations to the Outer Banks, and the trip of his lifetime to Ireland with his dad several years ago.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Aug 27 at 11:00 AM at Epiphany Of Our Lord Church 3050 Walton Rd., Plymouth Meeting

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug 27 from 9:30 to 10:40 AM at the Church before the Funeral Mass

Luke's Interment will take place following the Mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 3301 Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia
