Ruth Rumsey (1915-2013) Formerly of Philadelphia, PA. , March 31st 2013. Pre-deceased by husband John Leroy Rumsey and Granddaughter Maria Roccia-Romaker. Ruth is survived by her daughters Sandra Roccia and Joan Gallagher as well as three grandchildren and seven great-grand children. Ruth graduated from Roxborough High School in 1933, and was very active in her church and community. She moved to Avalon, NJ in March, 1998. Ruth has a very special love for her Great grandkids. She was also a lover of all animals, especially her cats. As the family matriarch she always knew when to use her favorite quote "better days are coming" just at the right time.
