James L. Graveline, age 88 of Lafayette Hill PA, died Friday (3/29) at the Masonic Village, . He was a Retired Manager, employed by The K Mart Stores Mr. Graveline was born in Columbus, GA, the son of the late Louis and the late Toillie Thompson Graveline. Mr.Graveline was a graduate of the Warren G.Harding H.S. in Ohio. He was a WW2 Army Veteran and served in the 66th Regiment and the 2nd. Armored Division in the European Theater. Mr. and Mrs. Graveline had formerly resided in Willow Grove Pa. before moving to the Masonic Village in Lafayette Hill. They were former members of the Church of the Living Word in Roslyn, where Mr.Graveline was a member of their council. While residing in Lafayette Hill they are members of Saint Peters Lutheran Church. Mr. Graveline was also a Mason and was a member of The LuLu Shrine and their Radio Unit in Plymouth Mtg. He is survived by his wife-Rutheda "Jean" Meeker Graveline two daughters: Karen J. Grant (Peter) of Parsippany, NJ, Janelle Krais (John)of Eagleville, PA one son: Kevin J. Graveline of Stamford, CONN one brother: Lamar Graveline of Sarasota, FLA. 5 Grandchildren,1 Great Grandaughter, Friends may call Tuesday April 2,2013 from 10-11am at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral Services will be at 11am. Burial will be in the Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Horsham. Contributions may be made to Alzheimers Assn. 399 Market St. suite 102,Phila,Pa. 19106 or Saint Peters Lutheran Church Bell Tower Fund, 3025 Church Rd.Lafayette Hill,Pa. 19444.
