Alfred “Al" D. Wolf, 84 years, of Blue Bell, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 6, 2021. He was born on August 4, 1937 in Philadelphia, the son of the late Charles and the late Elsie (née Dodsworth) Wolf. Al is survived by his loving Wife, Dorothea, and his daughters, Andrea Hicking (David) and Christine Wolf, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Al was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Higginbotham. Al attended Northeast High School and Drexel University. He was a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, (ASHRAE), the National Society for Professional Engineers, (NSPE), Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE), and many other professional organizations. For many years Al enjoyed traveling and sailing on Lake Nockamixon, in Bucks County, PA. A private service for immediate family members will be held at Lownes Funeral Home, followed by burial at George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Al’s memory may be made to St. Philip Neri Scholarship Fund, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA, 19444.
