Obituary of Geraldine S. Rotondo

Please share a memory of Geraldine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Geraldine S Rotondo of Lafayette Hill, passed away on March 22, 2021 surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Andrew, sons Andrew and Patrick (Danielle), sister Patricia Laferty, grandchildren Christian and Gianna and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Gerry was born on June 21, 1940 to John and Mary Schimpf.  She attended school at St Matthew's in Conshohocken. She worked for Bell Real estate till having children and then resumed working for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Instructional Materials Center until retiring.  For the past 8 years she started the career of doting grandmother to Christian and Gianna.  If you asked her it was her favorite and most rewarding job she could ever have.

Gerry always put family and friends first, her happiest times were when the house was full of both.  She was an avid tennis player, reader and sports enthusiast, especially the Eagles and 76ers.  Gerry had a way of making everyone feel welcome and left a lasting impression on many people's hearts.

Visitation will be held at St Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill on Saturday March 27, 2021 from 10 am to 11 am.  Funeral mass will follow at 11am.
