Brian Scott Schwartz, 44, of Norristown, PA, passed away on Monday March 8th in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Visitation and funeral service will be held at St. Philip Neri Church on Saturday March 13th from 9:30 - 11:00 AM followed by a mass at 11:00 AM.
Brian was born in Philadelphia, PA and adopted by Clifford and Claudia Schwartz on January 22, 1977. He went to high school at Norristown Area High School and graduated in 1995. He worked at a number of places over the years, including Genuardi’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Maggiano’s, BJ’s and most recently, at Great Valley Eye Associates in Malvern. Brian was an active member of The Bridgeport Elks Lodge.
Brian had an amazing outlook on life. Brian never complained, if Brian was in pain or faced with challenges, he always responded; “Never had a bad day in my life and I don’t plan to start now. “
Brian also had a true passion for the performing arts and was a member of several local theaters where Brian put to good use his God given talents of singing and acting. He enjoyed Quizzo, karaoke, was a true fan of the Eagles and the Phillies, had a love for concerts, and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family the most; especially his nieces and nephew. Brian truly loved being an uncle. But mostly, he cherished the time he was able to spend with the love of his life, Kelly.
Brian is survived by his wife, Kelly Fitzgerald of Plymouth Meeting; his parents, Clifford and Claudia Schwartz of Norristown; his sister, Ellen Nowrey of Norristown, her daughters, Olivia and Scarlett Nowrey; and his brother, Jason Schwartz of Collegeville, wife Julia Schwartz and their children Liam and Rylee Schwartz.
