Obituary of Christine Watson

On Sunday, January 3, 2021, Christine Watson, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at age 74.

Christine was born on July 28, 1946 in Swindon, England to James Forbes and Edith (Smith) Forbes. On January 21, 1967 she married Lewis Watson Jr. They raised two sons, Lewis III and James.

Christine was a friendly, vibrant woman who quickly made friends with everyone she came across. She had a passion for travel, especially enjoying making trips to her homeland of England. She truly doted on her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family. She had a great affinity for giraffes and found them to be such graceful creatures. She was known for her contagious laugh, her kind smile and her fun loving attitude.

Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Jr, her sister, Evelyn, her mother, Edith and her father, James. She is survived by her two children, Lewis III and James, her grandchildren Colin, Ian, Brooke and Connor, her sisters Mary and Anne, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 2020 at the Lownes Family Funeral Home on Germantown Pike starting at 2 o’clock p.m. ending with a celebration of life at 3 o'clock p.m. To view the Funeral service at anytime you may click the link below:
