Obituary of Dorothy M. Swan

Dorothy M. Swan, age 84 of Lafayette Hill PA, died Thursday (1/31) at her home surrounded by her family. She was a retired Quality Assurance Represenative for I.M.S. Mrs. Swan was born in Camden, NJ, the daughter of the late Glover and the late Mary Jacob Grier.Wife of the late William "Trevor" Swan who died in 1993. Mrs. Swan was a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill and was a member of their Phillipians Social Group, the Home and School Assn. and the Womes Guild. She also was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 14 Ladies Auxillary. For many years she enjoyed volunteering at the Saint Joseph Villa in Flourtown. She also was an avid Phillies fan. She is survived by three daughters: Joanne Connor (the Late Bernie) of Paoli, PA, Elizabeth Clements of Lafayette Hill, PA, Rosanne Thorwarth of Oaks, PA two sons: William "Trevor" Swan (Darla) of West Va., Charles "Chuck" Swan (Andrea) of Plymouth Meeting, PA. 14 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grand., Besides her husband ,she was predeceased by her daughter Diane and son Patrick. Friends may call Saturday 2/2/2013 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral masswill be held at 11:00 am Burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery.
