Obituary of Richard M. Isenberg

Richard M. Isenberg passed away at age 99 on September 24, 2020. He was a long time resident of Huntingdon, Pa. He was Circulation Manager of The Daily News for 30 years. In World War II he was a Staff Sergeant in the O.S.S. serving in N. Africa, S. France and Italy. He served as quartermaster of VFW Post 1754 and sang many years in the First Methodist Church choir.
In his younger years he played tennis, baseball, softball and later horseshoes and bowling.
In 1970 he made a career change and moved to Plymouth Meeting, Pa. He worked as a Pa. State Auditor for the Dept. of Revenue until retirement.
He sang with Lansdale Barbershop Choir and later Montco Senior Concert Choir during which he served as treasurer for 14 years.
He is survived by his wife, Angeline Cypher Isenberg, and sons Allen and Chris.
