Obituary of Jeanne Marie Brierly

On Sunday, August 16, 2020 Jeanne Marie Brierly passed away at her home in Blue Bell at the age of 96. She was born on December 19, 1923 in Mocanaqua, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Hertz Harter and Sarah Berriman Harter. She was preceded in death by Alexander Curnow after 45 years of marriage and by John Brierly after 17 years.

She is survived by her son Rodger Curnow (Betsy), daughter April Curnow, stepson John Brierly, and sister Doris Davenport.

Jeanne was a graduate of West Chester University. An accomplished musician on piano and organ, she was a music educator with the Colonial School District for over 25 years and will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and former students.

A Graveside Service for Jeanne will be held on Monday, Aug 24 at 12:00 PM at Pine Grove Cemetery Annex Walnut St., Berwick PA.
