Obituary of Quentin C. Sturm
Quentin Charles Sturm III passed away on Saturday, July 25th. Cherished son of Judy Sturm and Quentin Sturm, Jr, loving brother to Melissa, Dan, and Kelsey (Alex) Defruscio, and uncle to Josie Defruscio, he will also be profoundly missed by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Quentin graduated from St. Philip Neri where his bright spirit and big dreams were loved by friends and teachers. He spent many days there learning and loving soccer with his classmates, and subsequently moved on to St. Joseph’s Preparatory School, where he graduated in 2001 with lifelong friends and a flair for writing.
He had an unconditional love for animals and volunteered at a pet rescue in Philadelphia. His passion for music, however, reigned supreme, and if Phish, Umphreys McGee, or The Grateful Dead were playing, that is where you would find him.
With a reflective nature, beautiful soul, and sensitive heart, Q’s well of love for his family and friends ran deep.
Due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, interment will be private; however, a remembrance will be planned when the time allows, and more information will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on his behalf to:

I love you more than words can tell
Listen to the river sing sweet songs
To rock my soul”
