Obituary of Anthony N. Conti

Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Anthony (Tony) Nicholas Conti, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2020 with family by his side. Tony was born on December 17, 1928 in Bayonne, NJ, the son of the late Joseph Conti and the late Margaret (nee Tarantino).  He lived in New Jersey with his family before retiring to Kissimmee, FL, and just last year, moved back up north to Lafayette Hill, PA.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Marie Conti (nee Moscaritolo), daughter Peggy Naab (David), grandchildren David Naab (Alissa), Rebecca Kaslow (Andy) and Marie Conti, and great granddaughters Claire and Ella.  He is survived by his brother-in-law, Emil, and his many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph, and his brother, James.

Tony is a graduate of Linden High School.  He then went on to proudly serve our country in the United States Navy.  Tony worked for the Bridgewater Board of Education in New Jersey. Not only was he a hardworking man but he also enjoyed volunteering his time at his children’s schools, his church, The Osceola County Council on Aging, and Kissimmee Bay Country Club.

Tony loved God and his family deeply.  He was a generous, selfless man; always lending others a helping hand.  He lit up the room with his charm and humor. He loved a good cup of coffee, playing golf, bowling, going to the gym, and cheering on the New York Yankees no matter how late the game was on at night.  He would seize any opportunity to dance with his wife, whether it be at a wedding, line dancing with friends, on Main Street in Disney World, or in the kitchen of their home. Tony enjoyed playing cards with his friends and teaching others how to play pool.  His family and his friends in New Jersey, Florida and more recently, at Masonic Village, were a source of great enjoyment for him.

Due to the unprecedented global event, funeral services and internment will be private.  If you still wish to “attend” the funeral, it will be live streamed starting at 10:15 AM, Monday, April 13, 2020. Please visit St. Philip Neri Church’s website, https://www.saintphilipnerichurch.com, where you will find Tony’s obituary with the link for the live stream of the funeral Monday morning.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Masonic Village, Employee Appreciation Fund, 801 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444
