Obituary of Thomas J. Varrone

Thomas J. Varrone, of Lafayette Hill, passed away peacefully in his wife's arms Saturday, April 4, 2020.

He was born on June 14, 1954 in Philadelphia, the son of the late Thomas and the late Regina (née Kurtz) Varrone.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Patricia Varrone; two sons, Thomas P. Varrone (LeeAnn) and Mark T. Varrone (Dara); as well as his three grandchildren Jeremy, Violet and Natalie

He was a talented musician playing bass guitar. Thomas was also an avid fisherman and lover of all Philadelphia sports. He served on the board of directors of both the valley forge colonials ice hockey team and Plymouth Whitemarsh high school ice hockey teams. Thomas retired in 2011 after 36 years of service to the school district of Philadelphia. He loved spending time at the mountains and beach with his family.

Services will be private but watch for a life celebration at a later date.
