It's been a while since we've seen each other. You were larger than life! Recently came upon a photo of you and I and it made me both happy and sad at the same time. Rest in Peace Jay

Jay, Jay MY FRIEND! You left us way too early. We had a lot of parting and enjoying life... Key West, Naples, Sanibel and of course LBI. Your memories and tales will stay with me for the rest of my life, especially my Nancy who you introduced me to almost 9 years ago: THANX
Condolences to family. Enjoy heaven and look up Nardi.

Just like you to check out and not say goodbye. You would always say to my back as I was leaving, “Be good Nancy and stay out of trouble. And as my hand went up to wave goodbye, I replied… “I’ll try, see ya later alligator.”
It was 17 years of fun times working with Jay on his “Flop Houses”, as he affectionately called them. We were a crew of four females - poor him. But Jay had a great philosophy that worked well with us, “surround yourself with great women and stay the hell out of their way.”
Memories…Where do I begin? A typical Saturday was following Jay down Ocean Ave and watching all the toilet paper and paper towels flying out the back of his truck. And I know he drove that old “1989” Dodge Dakota to heaven with the stuff flying behind in the beautiful breezes. Memories of him will never die. I’m just so lucky to have met him on that Sunday, March 23, 2003.
He was a devoted son to Helen, a true and loyal friend to many and my heartfelt condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed.
Sleep well Jay. I love you, Nancy.
P.S. HGTV missed their big chance!

Right now sorrow fills our hearts, but now that Jay has departed, we cannot stop bringing up his name. He will be missed for all the times we had while laughing with him, drinking with him, partying at Nardi’s with him and the many Halloween Dress ups. Sunset cruises to the Dutchman, and of course that one cruise with Orlando when we found ourselves in an unexpected situation involving a Jet Skier. I believe most of you know what we’re talking about. Jay almost wet himself! Friends are the people who make us what we are, they help us out, they give us reality checks, crack lame jokes and make life worth living. The many beautiful moments that you made all of us live with you, are now our memories that never die. The comfort of having a friend may be taken away, but not having had one at all is a shame. Now you have to sail on, rest in peace my friend. Love You, George and Moe

They say no one is truly gone unless they a forgotten. I’m sure no one will forget Jay or his infectious smile, that seem to light up the room when he entered. He was the kind of person uplifted people’s spirits rather than the opposite. He’s love of Mom and the time he devoted too her spoke more about the type of man that he was than anything else. Jays friends and family became my mine and my friends and family became his.
Although Karen and I are heartbroken, we consider ourselves blessed to have had Jay in our lives.
Until we meet again my friend.
