Heard the sad news. I was Kim's fourth grade teacher at St. John's. Teachers aren't supposed to have favorites, but Kim was one of my favorite students. I recently reconnected with her on Facebook. I'm so sorry for her loss - the Bass/Ryan family must be devastated. You're all in my prayers.
