Obituary of Barbara Ann Casselli
Barbara Ann Casselli, 74, passed away on Sunday morning, May 19th with friends and family by her side. Barbara was the daughter of Rose and Tony Talarico, born March 8th 1945 and sibling to Rosemary and Anthony Talarico. She grew up in West Mt. Airy and attended Little Flower High School, graduate of 1963. She met Tony Casselli, fell in love and together they were married for 55 years.
Barbara was well known throughout the community as an aquatics instructor at the Ambler YMCA; celebrating her 20th anniversary this year. She was also known as a courageous, kind and compassionate person who fought off several illnesses, received many miracles of life and whose final miracle was to be reunited with her parents and friends in heaven.
Her passion for life was being there for her family and friends. She carried a contagious smile, was an avid story teller, was a uniquely fun song writer, and danced her way into everyone's hearts. Her kind acts of love and compassion will continue on in the hearts of many.
Her many interests included a lifelong love of travel, teaching water aerobics, spending time at the ocean, flowers, maintaining a spotless home, and taking care of her family and friends.
She leaves behind her loving husband Anthony Casselli, her brother Anthony Talarico and sons Anthony Casselli (Patti Casselli) and Mario Casselli (Anita DiBlasi) and 3grandchildren Samantha, Catherine Mary and Anthony Casselli. She has many loving nieces and a nephew.
