I am glad to have been able to attend John's funeral. I was also very gratified by the presence of his in-laws and former co-workers from Trenton. John deserved a special send-off, and I know that he was watching from a better place.

John’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

I was so shocked & saddened to hear the news of John's passing. He was a true gentleman and professional in his career. He was always kind & willing to help others without hesitation. I was privileged to have worked with John during my career with DEP & feel blessed to have known him. He is now enjoying eternal happiness in his new home.

When John was my boss, I never fully appreciated all that he taught me. But now, I find myself emulating his wise, practical and caring views of the environment, its protection, and the world in general. Rest in Peace John; Your legacy lives on in what you have shared with others!
