Obituary of Joseph C. Hartsell Sr.

Joseph C. Hartsell, of Norristown, died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family on March 12, 2019 at the age of 90.  Mr. Hartsell was a long-time resident of Norristown and the surrounding area.  He was an industrial sales engineer for local companies such as Synthane Taylor of Oaks and Budd Co. of Bridgeport.  After retirement, him and his wife traveled extensively worldwide, visiting 5 continents on numerous times with a large group of friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Elaine S. Hartsell, his son Joseph C. Jr., and another son, Jay Brian.  He is survived by his remaining son, James A Hartsell of Glen Allen, VA; his wife, Myra G. Hartsell, granddaughter Alexis Elaine, and twin grandsons James A Jr., and Ryan Patrick. 

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Mar 22 at 11:00 AM at Chapel Of George Washington Memorial 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting

An evening Visitation will be held on Thursday, Mar 21 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lownes Family Funeral Home 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill and A Morning Visitation will be held on Friday, Mar 22 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Chapel Of George Washington Memorial 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting

Joseph's Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting following the funeral service
