My name is Steve Shirley and I just stumbled upon this does looking for Jimmy Devine's telephone number. I was friends with Jimmy Huey and brother Joe many years ago when I worked and lived in Atlantic City. I was a Southern Boy and knew nothing about the North East and all it's people. I do know that the Divine brothers were just about the nicest bunch of brothers I could ever hope to meet. I could go on for pages But you all know what I would say. The only one left that I know I guess is Joe and I would like him to give me a call if hes still hanging around. 04 November 2020, Manila, Philippines Please accept this belated condolence greetings to the family of Jim, as i knew him. I had met Jim in New York City in the early 1980's when I lived in Manhattan. He was on top of his modeling days. There were times he dropped by the store where I worked just to say hello. True to his kind nature he had offered to give me some suits from his modeling. Too bad they were too large for me. I had lost touch with Jim by the time I returned to Manila. But I always thought of him, being the celebrity that he was. I am so very sorry to learn of his passing. God bless him with eternal rest. Thank you, Jim, for being a friend. Jimmy was our best man at his dear friend John Durkins wedding. He made us laugh because he pretended that he didn't have our wedding rings! We had countless fun times and he lived life as I do. I will miss you Jimmy...save a glass of wine for me in heaven. Love Lindsay

I am so deeply sorry to hear of Jimmy’s death. He was the dearest friend anyone could ever have... compassionate and loving to all. James’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out".
