Obituary of Catherine R. Browne

Catherine R. Browne ( nee Killen) age 89 on December 2, 2012 of Lafayette Hill. She was born and raised in Roxborough to Kathryn O'Malley Killen and Martin Killen. She was the devoted wife of the late Francis T. Browne. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters Carolyn, Susan Lynch ( Dr. John), Kathy, Peggy Davis ( Barry), Betsy McGoldrick (Michael). She was the cherished grandmother of Stephen Nakamura and Alison Nakamura Netter, Brian and Andrew Lynch, Alex, Nora and Adan Rodriguez and Austin Davis. Survived by her sister Jane Warren and predeceased by her sisters Clem Cadden, Margaret Diehl Bozorth and brother Martin Killen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. She was an avid reader, loved a political discussion, tended to her African violets and orchids and enjoyed travel with her husband of 56 years. Catherine had many interests and those that knew her loved her graceful, sweet disposition. She will be greatly missed.
