Theodore’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Ted gave me an opportunity to have a career with the Wage Hour Division for which I shall always be grateful. I also recall his love of green ink when writing notes to me for improving my work product : )
Ted cared deeply about the mission of the Wage Hour Division but also about the people that carried out the work of the agency.
It was a pleasure to have known him and worked with him.

Ted hired me and promoted me at US DOL. We had a good workplace relationship. We also became friends. He deserves my long lasting gratitude, and he has it.

Ted was my first and long-time supervisor at the Dept. of Labor. But he was more than that. He taught me a lot and most of all always encouraged me in all aspects of my work and life. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.
