Dorothy was married to my grandfather, Paul, for many wonderful years. She was truly a grandmother to me and I loved her very much. She brought our family joy and laughter. She and Paul loved to travel, dance, and visit with friends and family. When I heard that she passed on Paul’s birthday, I knew that they would be dancing once again in heaven. I am thankful to have known her, thankful for who she was to my father, aunt, and grandfather, and thankful to have gotten to know Lee throughout these years. Our thoughts and prayers are with her in this difficult time.

We meet Lee & Dorothy at Artman Luthern Home, Dorothy was my Mom’s Dinner Table Friend, Quickly we all became Friends, Dorothy and Lee had a Beautiful Mother Daughter Relationship competing against each other with Laughter constantly. Lee spent Endless hours comforting her Mother, always making sure her Mother , Dorothy had everything she could possibly want in Life. Many times we would take our Moms in their wheelchair for rides to visit each other or just a stroll around the Biulding talking to other Residents, workers or speaking with Visitors. The Most Remeberable Ride was taking our Moms through the Haunted House at Artman’s and all we did was laugh from the Beginning to the End pushing our Moms the entire way. Dorothy always looked so pretty every Day thanks to Lee her Daughter picking out clothes for her Mom with Bright Cheerful Colors, We usually met on Sunday Nites getting our Moms together catching up for a liitle Chatter and Laughs. We enjoyed our Friendship with Dorothy and will never forget all the Dry Laughter she brought to our Family. Lee has been a Impecable Daughter to her Mother that you don’t always see and should be a Lesson to Daughters that need a “Wake Up Call” for Daughters. You only have one Mother, who should never be Forgotten and should’ be flourished with a Daughter’s True Love.
May the Lord Keep You close to him as you Him!
Love
Your Friends Ralph & Anna & Maria

We are neighbors of Dorothy's daughter, Lee. Although we never met Dorothy we felt like we knew her through her daughter's communication with us. It has been a long road for Dorothy and she is now at peace. We are wishing Lee comfort and peace in the future. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

We are good friends of Dorothy's daughter, Lee, which is how we met Dorothy and Paul some 25+ years ago. Dorothy always had a welcoming smile and sparkling eyes that made you feel happy and comfortable...she was truly a lovely woman.
Dorothy will always be in our thoughts and prayers, we were fortunate to have known her.

Dorothy’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.
