My deepest condolences to Barb’s family as she was such a warm and loving person. I met her in our first month of college in 1968, and we were summer roommates and close friends throughout our four years at Edinboro, and she was one of my bridesmaids after college. We attended some Homecomings afterwards, and after Dolly’s death, she gave me one of her marble and glass tables when I moved to Texas. I will always treasure it in Barb’s memory. Her father and mother always were so nice to me, and I know that Barb is reunited with them and her darling Bart now.She visited me in Texas and I saw her on some of my trips home over the years, but she was always a dear and loyal friend. A few years ago, we fell out of touch when I moved again, but she stayed in touch and even visited my mom in Pittsburgh sometimes. I will miss her wonderful spirit and will treasure all of my many memories of her generous soul. With sincere sadness, Diane Goughler Meyer

I was privileged to have worked with Barb on the Friends of the Library Board for several years. Barb was a dedicated member of the community and worked diligently behind the scenes to ensure successful Friends book sales for many years. I will miss her. Sympathies to her family. Sharing a few photos with Barb at one of the Library Galas, where the Friends of the Library Board members attended the event to support the library.

Rest In Peace Barbara. You will be missed! We have many memories of you coming to visit with mom. It’s ironic that you died almost 5 months apart. We’re glad that your struggles are over. ~Jennifer, Rob, and Lauren Bundy

Barbara’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.
